I'm trying to print from

I'm trying to print from a Macbook to a Lexmark z12 printer, drivers installed, printer is recognised. But when the print job goes through it comes up with a message "GenericClass: waiting on device" and then does nothing, and the print job sits in the queue and does nothing.

How can I print?
