More than likely the flyback transformer has failed and also the horizontal output transistor as well. it is hard to say without looking at the set if you are not a tech then you will need one. these sets are very complicated and the novice going into them risk severe shock or death (30,000 volts).
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

In what way is the color off? Does it appear like a 3D movie? If so, the convergence circuit has a problem. This could be as simple as a bad solder joint on the convergence ICs or defective ICs. If you can solder, you can fix this yourself. Figure on $40-$60 for parts plus the local labor rate if you need a service center, just the parts cost if you fix it yourself.
You have failed convergence IC's, Have the convergence IC's replaced on the convergence board, Replace them both they are the Large Black IC's mounted on large heatsinks usually mounted on a seperate board above the bottom main boards, The Part # for the IC's are STK-392-040
Yes there is one more step. You should call the technician out and have them set up the Magic Focus adjustments. I have serviced these televisions for years and I have made this mistake and had to return to fix it. You should not have to pay for a rework. The technician should have done the complete job the first time.
the problem you are having is caused by bad convergance amplifiers along with open pico fuses internal to the set. these amps range from $45.00 to $65.00 each and both amps need to be replaced. this is a common problem with rear projection sets. these amps work very hard and are kept cool on large heat sinks. so with that a tech is needed to repair. techs may charge $150.00 to $350.00 for the labor. so shop around. as for the adjustments you made let the tech know because you may have set the settings far out of the range for the set and will cause shut down before it can be reset. the tech will know what to do. to find a factory athorized repair shop call samsung the number is in your manual or on line.
Use a site like servicemanuals.com and get the
service literature for your make/model.Do NOT
perform factory reset procedure-that is reserved
for when certain parts are changed. You will need
the access sequence, adjust info and add to memory step for servicer convergence.Keep in mind--you may have defective convergence IC's.If so,you will
have difficulty w/alignment.Use OEM or better IC's
no generics!! They won't hold up.
