I keeping pressing the mode button to change from radio to the cd player but when i press mode all of the buttons just light up blue. How can i change from radio to cd or to inout so i can hook up my ipod?
Do you have the problem since the moment you instaled the stereo. I´m not sure, but it is possible that you have done a wrong conexion. In some cars (ford, opel, etc) it is necessary to cross red and yellow cable in the iso connector in order to get the correct operation of all funtions. I had to do this in my ford focus, but I do not warrant that it'll work with your stereo. You may also ask your dealer about the original power suply conexion so you don´t burn a fuse on a wrong conexion trial. Hope it helps.

Reset the radio by pressing a sharp object (pin, pen, etc.) into the small reset hole on or behind the face. If it doesn't have one, disconnect the negative cable from the battery for two minutes and reconnect. If you still have this problem, the radio is bad.
For most older Pioneer single CD players, you can set the clock using the following steps:
Press and hold the SOURCE button until the unit shuts off.
Press and hold SOURCE again until the clock appears. *With some models you will press and hold the FUNCTION or AUDIO button instead of the SOURCE button.
Press the left or right arrow to select the segment of time you wish to adjust.
Press the up or down arrows to increase or decrease the numbers in the blinking segment.
Once the clock is set correctly, press the SOURCE button to exit.

First push the source button until the stereo is off. Then hold the Program Function(PRG F) key(upper right corner of CD Player) down for ~2 seconds. This will take you to the Initial settings mode keep pressing the PRG F key until you get to the time setting mode. Then select the hour or minute with the left/right arrows located on the right side of the player and the up/down arrows will change the setting.
Firstcheck whether it is still in demo mode. to cancel demo mode -- press [enter]when message flashes "to cancel DEMO mode press ENTER key" for 10-15 secs. Turn the control knob to "YES" and press ENTER key. If it still fails to operate properly press the rest button to return to factory settings(The reset button is behind the front console)
Below is the step-by-step procedure for setting the JVC clock. Please note that after you have entered the PSM mode, if you have not pressed a button for about 2 seconds, the radio will automatically exit the mode and return to normal operating mode. In that case, you must restart PSM by holding the "SEL" button until the display changes.
(1). Enter the PSM mode by pressing and holding the
SEL button until the display changes.
(2). Use the rocker switch left/right until "CLOCK

(3) Set the clock hours by turning the volume

Here is how to manually tune your radio.
1 Press the SOURCE button until a radio
frequency appears in the display.
2 Press the BAND button repeatedly until the
desired radio band is displayed.
Each press changes the band:
→ F1(FM1) → F2(FM2) → AM
3 Press the TUNE button repeatedly until "DX
SEEK" and "SEEK" disappear from the display.
The initial mode is DX SEEK.
4 Press the g DN or f UP button to move
downward or upward one step respectively until
the desired station frequency is displayed.
The ST indicator or STEREO indicator appears on the
display when a Stereo FM station is tuned in
ok when you look at the front of your system there is a button that has a (F) on it press and hold tell stuff comes on the screen then just keep pressing it tell you get to AUX off you should get it from there hope this helps
Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.
