How to replace fuel pressure regulating valve

  1. Remove the air intake tube and resonator assembly.
  2. Properly relieve the fuel system pressure.
  3. Remove the bolts from the fuel line clip.
  4. Using a 15 / 16 in. (24mm) backup wrench to prevent damage to the inlet port and bracket, disconnect the fuel inlet and return lines from the pressure regulator/fuel rail assembly.
If difficulty is encountered accessing the fuel return line nut, loosen and/or remove the fuel supply and rail attachment fasteners.
  1. Disengage the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose.

Fig. 7: Use a suitable wrench to loosen ...

  1. Remove the regulator assembly attaching screw, then remove the regulator assembly. Plug the regulator port in the fuel rail with a clean rag to prevent system contamination.

Fig. 8: ... and remove the mounting screw from the pressure regulator/fuel rail assembly

Fig. 9: Remove the fuel pressure regulator assembly from the fuel rail
  1. Do not remove the O-ring from the retainer in the pressure regulator fuel outlet, unless it is damaged and requires replacing. Always remove and discard the O-ring from the fuel inlet.
To install:
  1. Lubricate the new fuel inlet O-ring and, if necessary, the new outlet O-ring with clean engine oil, then install the O-ring(s) in the pressure regulator assembly.
  2. Position the regulator assembly to the fuel rail. Coat the threads of the attaching bolt with Loctite® 242 or an equivalent threadlock, then install the bolt and tighten to 106 inch lbs. (12 Nm).
  3. Connect the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose.
  4. Connect the fuel inlet and return lines, then tighten the lines to 133 inch lbs. (15 Nm) using a backup wrench to prevent port damage.
  5. Cycle the ignition switch to prime the fuel system, then start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
  6. Turn the ignition OFF and install the air intake tube and resonator assembly.

Hope this helps (remember to rate and comment this answer).

Dear sir am using philips home theatre model no HTS-3010 and it was nor working (lens problem) can u please help me on this to rectify the problem.

In some cases the strip wire connected from lens unit to the main board may have broken contacts inside it, as these contacts are lined with carbon tracks, and not with copper strands. As the strip wire have to move alongwith the lens unit, and it have more than 14 carbon tracks in it, if any one may have broken, proper signal wouldn't reach the processor Ics, and proper reading of disc will not take place. You just replace the strip wire first and see if it helps. If not, buy the lens unit as an assembly; not individually; it is good, will get with two of its motors also assembled and alighned.
If you buy lens unit alone, sometimes you may have to do some alingnments, which is crucial and difficult to do it for yourself. OK.

Dvd drive not working on Xbox 360

HI. the optical lens assembly has failed at this point. this assembly incorporates a rail or track and motor that controls the tracking and loading as well.

there is also the actual laser lens that is dead center in the assembly. this entire assembly must be replaced in order to restore proper reading and tracking performance needed for proper game play.

I recommend replacing the entire DVD_ROM Drive in this case. its cheaper and, it is quite easy to install.(Plug-n-Play)

Back passenger window will not go up, but it will go down.

It obviously takes more power to push the window up than to release it down. I believe that the regulator on your motor is going bad. I believe that you have to replace the entire assembly. It is actually a simple job to do though. You first have to pop the door panel off which is held on by plastic clips and three screws. Then pop the two linkages for the lock and handle out and unplug electrical you then have to take the wrap off that is held by black RTV that is used for moisture control. there should be to brass clips holding your window in that you need to pop off and release the window from the assembly and unhook the power wire for the window motor. Then there are about five bolts holding the assembly in (3 for the motor and 2 or three for the track) once you unbolt them the assembly will slide out. Then in goes the new one; you may need someone to help hold the window once you get it in place and you are clipping it in. I think the assembly is 70-90 dollars.

1992 Volvo 940 Gl Sunroof Problem

to find out if it is off its track you can remove the cover between the rearview and the sunroof that is the motor/drive assembly. there is a slotted pin in this assemply that you turn with a screwdriver to move the sunroof manually if it wont move manually then you have a bigger issue. sometimes thie drive assembly screws get loose, i believe there are two screws that hold it up,when those are loose you will get a grinding sound when the gears skip. good luck.
