Johnny2hotty There seems to be two pressure switches one with a red transparent hose and one with a white transparent hose I can not see where they go to but it looks like its the water tank. Do you think that I have run out of water and it is not allowing it to fill the solenoid on the water fil line is ok.

Power comes from the timer to the float switch to the water valve when the dishwasher calls for water. Do you have a voltage meter? Perhaps the float switch is bad....just becasue the lever moves up and down does not mean the switch is allowing current to pass through it. Verify there is 110 volts present at the water valve during the fill cycle and let me know what you find. Ge dishwasher runs for 1 min then nothing happens

It ispossible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errorsdue to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main programcontroller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting fromthe flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit thewater at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then thevoltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to novoltage from the controller. This meansthe controller is a suspect. If thewater flows though the inlet then the flow pressure should be good, if not theinlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at theinlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVELSENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen levelto give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What ismost important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch mustbe ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor forrinse and wash.Check thislink to replace the inlet valve:http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1408/how-to-replace-the-inlet-valve-on-a-washer-dr.html Finallyafter the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to comein to rinse and then finally the dry spin with the drain valve/pump activatedso as to drain off all the water from the clothes during the spin.Make surethat a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so checkthe command from the program module and then the executing device be it thevalve or motor or pump. Frigidaire Model FDB780RCB0 I am getting water in the machine but it seems the arms are not turning what can I do to get that fixed?

The pump in the dishwasher is supposed to provide enough water pressure to turn the spray arms and make them rotate. The pump is faulty and not giving enough pressure or the arms are stuck.
Try spinning the arms, if they rotate smoothly, you will need to replace the pump.

No water entering machine. machine had stpped, as there was a piece of cling film blocking the outlet, this has since been removed but machine will not wash.

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect but in this case the inlet and outlet must be checked.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

Check this link to replace the inlet valve:

http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1408/how-to-replace-the-inlet-valve-on-a-washer-dr.html

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the dry spin with the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water from the clothes during the spin.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

My Bosch dishwasher (model sgs 3062gb) has suddenly started taking much longer to complete a cycle. It would appear to be taking over an hour on the pre-rinse section, but then carries on as normal....

Machine suddenly started not draining on any cycle.

Make sure the outlet hose is not obstructed and then test the outlet pump motor (in line with outlet hose.) The motor has 2 push on electrical connectors and the motor must spin in outlet mode. If the motor is not spinning it could be 1) the motor 2) the electronic swithing supply to the motor. Test the motor by determining if mains voltage is across the 2 terminals (motor open circuit or impeler in motor jamed or loose.) If no voltage across terminals it indicates an electronic switching problem (from the electonic / electrical circuit board) . The motor is easy to replace and can be obtained from all repair / 2nd hand shops...

GE GSD2000J01WW dishwasher , full of water at bottom of machine

The drain motor (pump out motor) in line with the outlet pipe could be faulty. This motor must spin (to pump out water) in the drain mode. If AC (mains)voltage is across motor in pumpout mode and the motor does not spin indicates that the motor is open circuit and needs replacing. Has one of the 2 motor push on electrical connections dislodged?
Is the outlet pipe obstructed?

Dishwasher keeps stoping

Favorite for bosch is the water inlet modual which monitors the water flow in could be faulty, If incorrect pulses take place the motor wont proceed. Otherwise listen for a hum after water stops filling. If there is a hum, the main wash pump is jambed and has to be sorted out.

Dishwasher Repair

It could be a motor or a pump issue. The dishwasher has a motor that attached to a pump which forces the water up into the sprayer arms and during the drain cycle, it pushes the water out of the dishwasher. The motor (and pump) located beneath the dishwasher. Check if motor spins. In case it spins, the problem is with the pump ,in case it doesn't spin it could be a motor problem or a motor and pump problem. Good luck

Dishwasher not pumping water

Hi, I have an ASKO 1606 and it stopped turning on. This happened after the sink drain got blocked. All that would happen when switched on was the sound of the pump trying to pump water out. I opened up the panel on the back and found the tray inside full of water. As I started scooping the water out I heard what sounded like a switch clicking on and off. I think there must be a safety float switch or something. Once the water in the tray was cleared everything worked fine again. No more hand washing dishes!! WOOHOO
