Hook-up tv to stereo

I have a Samsung tv. Model code# TXR2735X/XAA, Serial

#39HA3CCY708024B.
I am looking for a way to hook my tv to my stereo. My stereo is an old Radio Shack-Realistic Clarinette Am/Fm that still has a great sound. There are no other empty jacks. All it has is a left channel speaker plug and the other is right channel. I will go inside it if I have to. Could/would you happen to know what to do?

Thank you. Jim Scott.

You will require a sound system and TV that is compatible. I would not suggest to start modifying your sound system and TV. There are serious safety issues involved. There will also be the complexity of designing circuits to have proper impedance matching, input selection, and safe electrical isolation between the devices.

When buying new equipment, it is normal that at some time you will hve to keep up with the times.

If the remote is an old model, then it won't be programmed with a specific code for your exact model of TV. Try any of the Samsung codes, or do an Auto code search.

I have a Samsung 42 inch projection tv that will only stay on for a few minutes. When it shuts off the front on/off button flashes. It is a model HLS4666WX/XAA version PB02.

Google your make and model and add flash codes to the end. The blinking light is a self diagnostic tool for service. Count the number of flashes and look it up on the website that comes up.

SAMSUNG TV WONT TURN ON JUST CLICKS

I just fixed this very same problem. The capacitors are the problem. However, I think that if you have some minimal skills with soldering, you can fix this yourself. You just need to take out the system board, then the power supply parts are on the top right. The bad capacitor(s) will be bulging at the top and possibly have some brown stuff coming out. The ones that go bad are 1000microfarad, 10V, however you can replace them with higher voltage. I got 35V caps from radio shack for 1.59 each. You just need to solder out the bad ones and then put the new ones in and solder. Remember that the negative end goes on the side with the bold black part of the circle on the system board. Then just cut off the extra ends of the capacitors. If you are capable of doing this yourself, you will spend at most 6 dollars instead of however much a technician costs.

How do I know if it is L6 or L3 chassis

you need to look on the right side of the set (facing the front of the set) for a small label that says
model code...
serial number..
version..
if the version number is blank or PW01 you have the
L3 chassis.
if it says PU02 then you have the L620 chassis
also the L3 chassis has the ballast on a slight angle and the L620 has the ballast straight.
