I have striped the fan of the light and all the casing around. I cant get the fan off the ceiling. Any suggestions ( i don't know the make of the fan)

I had to pry out the lock washer, then the whole thing came down. Thanks

looks like you have done all the right things from the photographs you have posted. I suggest you take a look above the ceiling, if its a false ceiling and you can get to it. or else you will have to use a big flat head screwdriver to pry it loose and touch up the ceiling later.
