Question about Sony DCR-VX2000 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
My camera has both audio and visual pixelation. I had the drum motor replaced and the camera cleaned and re-aligned. I took camera back to repair shop and and they said the drum motor was bad again after 2 uses. What do you think? Any suggestions?
The head drum motor are going faulty after a long time using.
in your camera fault is in the machanism [tape deck].
your old head is also o.k.
please change the supply pully & TG plate in the machine.
and realigned the camera with good tape.

This is usually caused by an oxidized or defective Audio/Video drum. Try running a cleaning tape through the camera. If this does not solve the problem the camera will need to be repaired qualified service technician.
