When i plug my plasma in i get the standard 2 clicks and the led light comes on. It swithces from red to green. I hear and see both relay switches popping but i have no video. I have noticed that the fans do not turn on when the tv is plugged in. I have tried to run just sound but that does not respond either. My guess is its a simple power problem that could be fixed, (i hope). Have you heard of this before and if so what are some solutions to fix my TV. Eight grand down the drain kinda sucks.
Thanks for any help you guys could give.

Hello the blinking lights is a code to tell you what part of your tv has a fault. The service manual will tell you what the blinking code refers to. You can google the model number with the words service manual and you should get some results on where to download it.
You can get get parts for this tv at www.interliquidparts.com
This problems happen to all LCD and Plasma tvs.In to 1 or 2 maybe 3 to 4 years old in used. The power supply board have these componnents parts call the capacitors,it will started to bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top. These capacitors are leaking gases and it dead. The tv will not power up and the LED power lite indicator start continuous flashing LED light.U know basic electronic's and soldering?Take the tv aparts where the power cord plug into it that ur power supply board.Searches all around the power supply board and it supporting boards, replaced all those dead gas leakage capacitors.Ur tv will power up normal again and work.Or Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
Should have been 3300 UF 10V caps that were bad? Shouls have been replaced with 3300UF 18V. 50V is huge. If it was replaced with a 50 the polarity may be wrong or the cap it too big to be seated property. Sometimes the caps just dry out and even a normal looking one will be the culprit of no OSD. Are you getting an LED fault code blinking? That should be a red led. Do you hear the relay clicking.? When you replaced the caps did you charge them? Just plugging in the set without trying to power it on for about 20-30 mins. I may be able to help you
I have the same problem. since I have 3 of these TV's, I switched boards around, and I came to the conclution that is the power board. I will try to repair it, and I'll let you know the component that is bad. Gaston
Hi i have a pilips 42" plasma tv (42PF5320/79) i can hear clicking the green light is on and the tv will go into stand by if i press the power button and the red light also comes on .I have turned it on and off and it works now nothing just the light on the front as if its working looking at the back through the slots two green lights come on then the tv clicks and they turn off, thanks
Ok. I got my tv back on.
I pulled off the back cover and found the relay that was clicking.
I have two blue relays next to each other that click when the power is pushed.
I placed a hair dryer over the relays for about a minute.
Once heated up, it only took 4 tries to get the TV to stay on.
Replace Q8023 (top224y) which you will find is blown apart or it's shorted, and the Q1 (2sk2662) which would check to be shorted inside the heat shrinked wrapped board next to the blue relay and the smd zener diode ZD8018 (shorted) along with the ceramic fuse F8001.
I don't remember the value for the zener diode but there's lots of them with the same color code. You will have to take one of the others off to test on a resistor jig to get it's value.
The 2SK2662 is a cross for the original.
