Hi,
dependant on the version of office/publisher you have.
Theres usually a help Wizard, which will guide you through the various elements. Also on the taskbar at the top. you should find Help. Covering various aspects Of How-To.

I have downloaded the MapiLab Mail Merge Toolkit to use with MS Word and Publisher. However, only Word displays the option to use it, not Publisher. I need to know how to enable it for Publisher.

Hi there,
The "MAPILab" folder is created in the "Start" menu. It contains the folders of all installed add-ins the way it is shown below in the menu:
ynogami21_3.jpg

Open the help of some installed add-in and see the "Introduction" or "Working with the program" sections to find the description on what control items it adds to the Microsoft Outlook toolbar and menu and under what conditions these items become visible and available.
If there are no described items in the Microsoft Outlook interface, make sure the add-in is loaded (look at the article "How is it possible that I cannot enable an add-in? What are "disabled items"?).

Hope this helps!

Hi, I've just installed Microsoft Office Publisher 2010 on my PC (Vista Basic). It works fine and everything. However the saved publisher files have icons like blank pages and won't open automatically...

Hello:
You can manually locate Microsoft Publisher when going to the "open with" dialog. Follow the steps below:
  1. Right click on a Publisher file.
  2. Choose "Open With..."
  3. Choose "Choose Default Program..."
  4. A dialog box will open. There is a list of programs at the top.
  5. Near the bottom of the dialog box, there should be a link that says "Browse..." Click it.
  6. You need to locate the Microsoft Publisher Program. For Office 2010, it should be at:
x86: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 14\MSPUB.exe
x64: C:\Program FIles (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office 14\MSPUB.exe
7. Click once on the file and choose "Open" 8. Check the box called "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" 9. Confirm your selections and click "OK" at the bottom of the dialog box.

I need my product key to start MS Publisher

The 25-character product key is found either:
* on the packaging if you purchased the software at a retail store,
* in your E-mail, if you made an online purchase.

If you recently bought a new computer, it could have had a "trial" version of MS Publisher installed. After the end of the trial-period, usually 30 to 60 days, you must either stop using the software, or follow the on-screen instructions to make an online purchase of a license-key.

When installing Microsoft Officer, you have the option to select which applications to only install. If you have an installer at home, you can just insert the CD on your computer and select Microsoft Publisher from the list of applications and select Install.

Sometimes you can only load office programs up three to fives times before it doesn't install.

Try uninstalling Publisher and reinstall just Publisher into the computer.

Microsoft Publisher

Good luck with that. Microsoft has stopped supporting that software, and it will no longer be published.
