I'm assuming you have the correct drivers loaded and correctly configured.
Set power switch to off.
Unplug it for 1 minute.
Plug it back in.
Turn it on.
If it still won't work, I suggest replacing the power supply.
If it still won't work, I suggest you replace it.

I replaced the black ink cartiridge now I try to power up printer and it wont power up what do I do?

First you can make sure the outlet you plug your printer into has electricity by unplugging the printer and plugging in a lamp or something to show the electricity is working. Unplug the other end of the power to the printer if it will unplug - so the printer power cable is unplugged at both ends.

If the electricity is okay then plug both ends of the printer power cable back in and see if the printer comes on. If it does not, lift the lid where you replaced the ink cartridge and see if you can remove and reinstall the ink cartridge. Make sure the latch holding the cartridge is firmly in place. Finally, make sure the lid is down and solidly in place.

Usually one of the above suggestions corrects the power problem. If not, please come back & remind us you have followed these suggestions and we can continue to try to correct your problem..

Lexmark x4650 hi, I have plugged a in the printer, nothing happening at all , no indicator lights, it has suddenly died , last used it a couple of weeks ago , any suggestions ? thanks

Verify that the power cable is firmly connected into the printer. Plug the printer in to a different outlet, one that you have confirmed works (plug in a lamp to verify that the outlet works). You may plug in the printer without the computer connection to test this. Check to see if the printer has an additional power switch on the back near where the cable attaches. If the problem persists, verify that the voltage is correct with a multimeter. The output voltage should correspond to the DC Output value written on the adapter. Confirm that this voltage matches the DC voltage required by the printer as written on the underside model placard on the printer. If the voltage is incorrect and the adapter is the correct one for the printer, replace the power adapter. If the voltage is correct then there is a problem with the printer that requires repair service. You may want to consider a new printer if this one is not covered by your warranty.

Printer is dead

Unplug the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Leave the other end of the power cord attached to the power outlet. Bypass any surge device or power strip, plug the power cord straight to the power outlet in the wall. Properly secure the power cord in the power adapter. There should be green LED light on on the power adapter. Plug the power adapter back in the printer. Make sure it's plugged in securely and in the correct position. If it won't power on automatically, press the power button. If that doesn't help, it may be a hardware problem. If that's the case, I suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the problem.

Lexmark 2350 seems to have no power

Try this. Unplug the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Make sure the other end is plugged in straight to a known working power outlet in the wall. Bypass any surge device or power strip. Properly secure the power cord in the power adapter. Then plug it back in the printer. Plug it hard and in the correct position. If it won't power on automatically, press the power button. If this doesn't help, I suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the problem. Thanks.

Was printing fine. I turned the printer off and it won't go back on. Everything is plugged in correctly.

Possible hardware failure, unfortunately.
Turn it off. Then unplug it from your computer and unplug it from the wall too.
Plug it directly into a working power source. Then turn it on.

Hp PSC 1610 all in one printer

I may need a little more information to understand the exact nature of the problem. First, it sounds like the printer worked normally until the computer was rebooted, and then it stopped working completely...is that correct?

Do you get any error messages, either on the printer's display panel or on your computer? There should be a printer icon in the bottom right corner of your computer's screen. Does it look "normal" or is there a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it?

Frankly, rebooting the computer shouldn't result in the printer becoming completely non-responsive. My first suggestion would be for you to unplug the printer's power cord, wait about 10 seconds, and then plug the printer's power cord back in. Leave all of the other cables attached (USB connection to the computer and such). Make sure the computer is on and running while you do this.

Let the printer completely power up. It has to go through a start up routine, more or less the way your computer does. See if you can get a connection afterwards. Sometimes a glitch will occur and rebooting the printer will clear it.

If this doesn't do the trick, please post back more details about the nature of the problem. Thanks.
