The coleman uses a vermiculite "sponge" in the dome. after you pump it up and start it, there should be a quarter to half dollar area on the dome that gets saturated with fuel. you light this area then open the valve all the way. the entire dome should glow orange.

I have a coleman presidential electric heater in my mobile home. The heating element works but the blower wont turn on. What could it be?

First check your thermostat.. RED wire(power) should be connected to the GREEN wire(fan).... a Multi- Meter should read 24v if you have power. If there's power going to the FAN(Green) Then your looking at a Bad Blower Motor (AND, OR) A bad Capacitor.

Hopefuly it's just a loose wire or bad capacitor,, the motor isnt cheap..
!!!STAY SAFE!!!!!.. and best of luck to you.....

Old coleman dome heater wont light

sounds like your feed tube might be partially plugged, or the orifice, you will need to disassemble the unit and clean it, normally a good dose of high pressure air will clear the tubing and orifice, check the tank too to see if you have any de-bree in it, hope that helps.

Defective combustion air switch. The 3 blinks are an error code. You didn't say, but I'm guessing you have a Coleman Evcon. They had alot of defective Combustion air switches. Your specialists were not that.
