The water level sensor is faulty. After the inlet valve is opened the program controller needs the signal fromt he water level sensor. Thi is normally a pressure switch and as the water builds up the tub through a small opening the water flows through a tube to trigger the switch. So find out the pressure switch and replace. Only once the sensor clicks will the program proceed to wash . Otherwise you can spin becasue the water level sensor need not work for spinning as the level is down.

Wash machine will not stop filling/no matter what setting the level is set.it will spin out. How do I fix this. It is an admiral capacity plus. model # LNC6760B71 serial # 20672581CL

Most probably an inlet valve fault. Could be the water level sensor hose has diconnected, or the drain hose is too low, and is allowing water to flow through into the drain.....Check drain hose......If water flow is not stopped when you unplug the machine, it's probably a valve.....Not a big job........Good luck......Nomess

Water level rose quite high in machine and machine keeps bleeping quoting E16. It won't cancel itself. can you please help? My washing machine is WD71. prior to this after a wash and spin, I would take out...

check the electronic inlet valve I dont know the code but the symptm sound like a faulty leaking inlet valve

as a temp remedy you shoud have a inline isolator check valve this is where the water fill pipes connect to turn them off this will stop the machine from flooding untill you are able to seek repair

The washer water won't turn off once it has filled for all three load sizes.

Might be the water inlet valve at the back of the machine where the hose connects too, replace the valve and see if that fixes the prob

Possibly the timer. next time it wont stop filling turn off the washer. if it still fills you have a water valve issue. Hope for the valve. Timers are big bucks.
