Hello there,

PUK number stands for PIN UNLOCK KEY. You get this prompt when you have entered the PIN incorrectly for 3 consecutive times. This is something you can't download or purchase anywhere since it is not universal key. You would have to call your service provider to obtain the PUK code.

Puk means personal unlocking key with unique eight digit code..
It can be obtained from your sim card documents..
If you dont have one then call for the sim service provider and tell the right information of the sim card holder..
They will verify for the info and provide you the puk code..
Please note that you can try 10 attempts to find the puk code..
If the 10th attempt fails your sim card will be blocked and you need to buy a new one..

The best thing to do is to call your service provider and they can provide you with this code.Another alternative would be to check if they provide an online service for PUK code, as some providers do.This should solve your problem.

Typically when a phone is asking for a PUK code it means you have tried to edit or set the secuirty pin code. Unfortunately these codes are already predefined by the sim card and the service provider. It gives you the sensation that you can set or change the code but you cannot. You get 3 attempts to enter the correct code after which the phone asks for a PUK code. When it asks for the PUK you also get three tries to undo it. Again PUK codes are predefined by the sim card and the service provider. If you call your service providers technical support number or customer service number they can provide you with the PUK or the PIN code.
