Air condition

Keeps shutting off. Thought it was the thermastat and installed a new one today. Went out and came home to no A.C. again. If you leave it off for 10 minutes or more, it comes back on for 5 min and then shuts off again.

What is wrong and do I need another A.C guy or an electrician?
