Thisdriver download for Sony digital cameras will work on most Windowssystems and Cybershot digital cameras. This is a USB driver and in caseyou are not familiar with the general approach to installing drivers,it is important that you follow these steps:

1. Download the Sony driver
2. Make sure that the USB cable and digital camera are NOT connected to your PC
3. Install the digital camera driver
4. Do not try to plug the camera into your PC until you have finished installing the driver and restarted your computer.

Thisprocess may take an extra few minutes, but it helps prevent problemsand ensure the Sony digital camera driver is properly installed. Afterrestarting, the driver will let you transfer files via USB. Simply plugin your Sony camera and you should be ready to go.

If the camera is still not recognized after the USB driver has been re-installed, one of the following situations may apply. "PC Camera" may be selected as the USB setting on the digital camera.
