CALM DOWN . YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO FEEL HARM AIR AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RF AT THE KICK PLATE IT CALLED HEAT EXCHANGE WHICH IS A GOOD THING CAUSE WITHOUT MEANS YOUR MACHINES SEALED SYS. IS DEAD BUT THAT NOT THE CASE SO IF YOU HAVE ICE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FREEZER THAT MEAN YOU HAVE A CLOGGED EVAP. DRAIN. TAKE TE BACK PANEL OFF THE FREEZER AND AT THE BOTTOM OF THE EVAP. COILS YOU WILL SEE THE DRAIN WHICH WILL BE FULL OF ICE , USE BOILING HOT WATER TO MELT THE ICE AND CONTINUE TO DO SO UNTIL THE DRAIN FLOW SMOOTHLY DOWN INTO THE DRAIN PAN. YOU HEATING ELEMENT IS FINE BUT YOU MAY WANT TO CLEAN YOUR CONDENSER COILS

What a mess. The instruction manual (really lacking in detail) does not have part numbers or model description. Excess moisture dripping in refirgeration portion of unit (top freezer; bottom...

Yes it could, you will have to check your defrost water drain, if its plugged defrost water won't go to condensate pan under unit, instead will make its way down to refrigerator section

Ice buildup in freezer drip pan and water overflow when in defrost mode. water drips out the front bottom freezer door. Maytag model msd2736gr

Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

Side by side leaking water from under freezer side

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back/bottom of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curatain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the fridge is because the water has been leaking into the freezer and down the vent into the fridge instead of running into the drain hole...Please feel free to comment again if you need any further assistance. Condensation dripping from top of refrigerator

The problem is the defrost drain trough is plugged with ice. You will have to turn off the refrigerator, remove the freezer back panel and use a baby aspirator to help you apply and remove hot water to melt the ice. Then insert the aspirator in the drain hole to blow out any thing that may have gotten lodged inside. You will hear the water draining now to the pain underneath the refrigerator. Hope that helps you, good luck!!

Freezer ice

If the freezer is on top then empty out the freezer and remove the bottom and back liner of the freezer compartment usually phillips screws. In the back you will see the freezer coils along with a defrost element. Below these two items u will see a drip tray that collects water from the coils on defrost cycle, in the center of the pan will be a drain hole that connects to a hose that leads to a pan under the refrigerator.Normally the water is collected there and evaporated. The hole in the tray in the freezer is clogged. Thaw it and clean it until you can pour water in it and it goes to the pan down below. please rate me

Ice forming bottom of freezer leaking out the door

It is acutually a collector pan for the drain hose. When the refrigerator runs a defrost cycle (about every couple days), that pan collects the water from the ice that is melted and drains it through a hose inside the unit, to a pan under the unit. You will have to pull the back panel off the back of the freezer and melt it with either hot water or a hot blowdryer. Do it until you see the water draining freely into the bottom pan.

Bottom of freezer has water dripping into it

A bad freezer door seal causes condensation that freezes at the bottom of the unit. I realize you said the drip pan was full of ice, but if the drain is clogged, that will happen. If that unit has the pan at the very bottom, condensation can also contribute to this.
