Need manual and part number for brushes on a Kitchenaid RRK90

If it looks like the photo beside the blue panel above I'd say it's a KSM 90 so you should be able to find your motor brushes and a downloadable manual with the help of Google. If you are in NZ I have brushes and can copy the manual for you.

Need manual and part number for brushes on a Kitchenaid RRK90

Well first thing; here is the link to the KitchenAid site where your parts list can be found.
http://www.kitchenaid.com/digitalassets/MLPDF/Repair%20Part%20List%20-%208212057.pdf

Next, the parts list will tell you what the part number is for the brushes and all the parts that make up the brush assembly. If you need to replace any part other than the brushes you will need to do a full tear down to do that. Also; remember that there are four different ways to replace the brushes but only one way will work. You need to be very careful to remember which way the old brushes come out, there is a beveled edge on one side of the brushes and the new brushes need to go back the exact same way or they will not reach the commutator on the armature and the mixer will not work until the brushes make that contact with the armature.
Lastly the reason that your mixer gets out of time is that over time, 8-10 years of use, the nuts on the speed control switch that hold the three timing screws in place simply get loose due to vibration and the screws can rotate in or out. Some times the screws vibrate loose and the mixer just will not turn on next time the mixer is used. Peeps then think it's broke and will not work so they sell it for parts and by a new mixer. When the only thing they need to fix it is a Phillips screwdriver , a small 3/8th open box wrench and about 20 minutes time to fix it.
Anyway I hope that this helped to answer your question. Please let us know if it helped and if not let me know and I'll try to help fixya.

the rotating plate needs to be pulled of and clean the grease out and only put two teaspoon dabs on ether end. to pull it of you will need to push the pin in the middle out and just lightly tap it back in.

I need the manual for my K5SS mixer my

Hi WWW_SOCRAFTI, you can easily download both the Owner’s Manual and Parts List manual for your K5SS mixer online from the KA website at: http://www.kitchenaid.com/flash.cmd?/#/page/home.
Click on Customer Care>Locate Manuals & Guides> Enter the 6 character model number, in your case use KSM50P (Your K5SS mixer falls within this model range), and then select this file: KSM50PPWH0.pdf (5156.65 KB) from the Owners Manuals (9) list and this file: KSM50P.pdf (438.31 KB) listed under Parts List (4). Check to verify they match your mixer model. You can save them to your PC hard drive, and then you can print a hard copy if you wish, or just refer to it when you need to use it.
The reason I suggest downloading the Parts List manual is that should you decide to try and troubleshoot and fix your KA mixer, this manual will be invaluable in the disassembly and reassembly of your mixer along with listing all the part names and numbers. Having the correct part names and numbers is critical when reordering replacement parts when your mixer eventually will stop working.
Good Luck with your mixer, I hope this helps. Howard, Burke, VA

I need a replacement for the speed selection lever on the KP2671 Pro 6. I have already removed it. The number on the switch panel I believe is 9705671 (if I am reading it right)Is there a place online...

Merry Christmas BILLANDSHEIL! It sounds like you’ve already identified the problem and you just want to order the correct replacement part(s). I assume you’ve got a Parts List manual on hand, but if you're lacking one, you can download a PDF version from the KA website at: http://www.kitchenaid.com/flash.cmd?/#/page/home.
Click on Customer Care>Locate Manuals & Guides> Enter the 6 character model number, in your case: KPM2671 and select from one of the files under Parts List (24). You’ll need to carefully check to make sure the manual you download matches your mixer model, because KA is notorious for providing differing part nos. for the same Illus. No. depending on the model and/or series version. After checking the 5 variations of Parts List manuals for your model, I found seven different part numbers based upon the control knob color selected. I think they make it confusing on purpose!
What ever Parts List manual you finally select, turn to pages 4 & 5 titled – Case, Gearing And Planetary Unit, and locate Illus No. 8, Control Assembly, and refer the part number for the knob color of your mixer. That is the part number you will need to use when reordering.
It’s not clear if you just want the speed selector knob or the whole knob control assembly. Unfortunately KA doesn’t just offer the knob, but only the whole PC board control assembly with knob.
As far as parts go, here are four potential online vendors in no particular order: RepairClinic.com; mendingshed.com; searspartsdirect.com; partstore.com. Prices for the same part can vary widely between vendors, so do your comparison shopping. (As a check, you could also try to input the part no. you found and see if you get any ‘hits’ from the vendors above.)
Although you don’t need to get further inside your mixer to make this repair, here are some links to several excellent websites that detail the disassembling/reassembly of a KA Mixer that you might want to keep in your ‘toolbox’, should you have to delve inside your mixer in the future. The mixers displayed in the links may be different than your KA model, but the principles are the same.
Between these three websites and their excellent pictures and descriptions and your Parts List manual, you should now be able replace any part to your KA mixer.
Good luck and have fun. I hope this helps. Howard, Burke, VA

How can I take off the main aristan top covers. I've unscrewed 4 bolts but the cover didn't move

Hi, LESZCZ2. Removing the cover of your mixer head will require perhaps a little more gentle persuasion than can be provided by pure muscle power. Before going to much further, be sure to have your Parts List Manual on hand, too. If you don’t have the original you can easily download a PDF version from the KA website: (http://www.kitchenaid.com/flash.cmd?/#/page/home).
Click on Customer Care>Locate Manuals& Guides> and enter the 6 character model number, KSM150 and select one the files listed for your model that appears under Parts List (61): KSM150PSWH0.pdf (773.44 KB) and save that file to your PC.
Here three links to several excellent websites that detail the disassembling/re-greasing and reassembly of a KA Mixer.
Between these three websites and their excellent pictures and descriptions and your Parts List manual, you should now be able to completely disassemble and reassemble your mixer.
Good luck and have fun. I hope this helps. – Howard, Burke, VA
