Toshiba 2060 Edges of copies cut off

So we place the original in glass and align propery to letter size. However when the copy comes out SOMETIMES the edges are cut off from both top and bottom and when we look at the glass the little orange rulers are set to copy only "statement" area. We have tried turning off/on, the edge erase is NOT on, we tried pressing 100% copy but nothing works. And then again, sometimes after a few copies it's fine. What are we doing or NOT doing right? We have noticed when all 3 green lights are on for LT LT and APS the copies are fine, but SOMETIMES they are not all on, and when you press one the other goes off. Like I said, this ONLY happens ocasionally but when it starts it's so time consuming trying to figure out what to do. Especially when you are in a hurry to make the copies.

Another thing, I already noticed how to disable energy saver mode, how do you turn it back on?
