I also quote a testimonial from Howardforums:
"You have to take the keyboard part of the phone apart in order to get to the screen part.
You will have to take off the five screws on the back (three are covered, use something that won't damage them & pry them off). Once you take the screws out, you will have to pry the back of the phone apart. It can be difficult at first, but once you get one part, the rest will be easy.
Now you must disconnect the flex cable from the board. Just gently pry it off, it comes off easily.
You can now take the circuit board and keyboard out.
Now you will have to remove the other keyboard part (attached to the hinges). You just have to twist around the hinges to remove it. Remember the position the hinges were in when you pry them off, so that you can put the keyboard part back on correctly when putting the phone back together.
Now you will just be left with the front part of the phone. Pry off the for screw covers in each corner, and take the screws out.
Now you will have to pry under the chrome to get the touch screen portion part of the phone off. Be gentle, because the touch screen is connected via a small cable. To take the cable off, pry up the black latch to let the cable come out.
Once you have the touch screen part off, you must unscrew four screws that are holding the screens to the bezel/ plastic part.
You can now take the screens out. I don't remember how they're attached, but I believe it's via a flex cable.
Hopefully this will be an easy repair! "
