Samsung 40" hi there my daughter threw the remote control on my tv and the screens gone all funny please can you help the bottom of the screen has got lines running thru it

Coby uses Samsung parts in their TVs such as the screen itself and the control board. My suggestion would be to try Samsung remote codes. I did this with a Coby 40" LCD TV

Hi, Unfortunately this is a crack internally, the spalsh of colour is the Liquid Crystals running through the cracks, the cracks can be very fine and not visible because of the spread of liquid. this can't be fixed, it would require a new screen which could be very expensive if you can get one.

you could try claiming on household insurance if it covers for things like this.

This is very trick to answer some manufactures make all there remotes to work all their different brands, I suggest you take the remote to the 32" with you before purchasing the 19" to make sure they work. This is not always the case that your remote will on the other set.

I would try a universal remote just to see if it does it on a different one. You may have a defective remote. How long have you had this problem?

frankly after a drop I would say the tv is damaged beyond repair

Replacement screens are to come by. Check E-bay try and find a TV that wont power on. Also www.RNS-Systems.com Has used screens from time to time

I can't fix the TV, but Nintendo does have the wrist straps and controller sleeves for the Wii remotes.
