Sorry, but something else happened to your camera. Airport x-ray machines do not affect memory cards or cameras. If they did, millions of people would be storming the airports demanding payment for their damaged equipment.

If it makes you feel any better, the airport screener cannot damage your camera in any way.

Internet connection drops within 5 min after (re)booting Airport

Speak with your internet provider, it sounds to me that the apple people didnt know what the problem was without getting down and dirtyy with it so they replaced it hoping for an easy fix. Seems to me that either the internet signal is being interrupted between the isp and your home .. or the motorola modem is having problems. I have never been a fan of motorola modems to begin with. Also the rentals u get from cable companies are used.. and typically subpar bottom of the line equipment that fail often. IF you think you will be using cable internet for years to come, purchase a linksys modem, as it is you are paying $3-5 a month for the rental of the modem. But I digress, speak with your isp and see if they cant troubleshoot the problem.. if 2 airports are having the same problem the chances of it being the airport... slim to none. good luck with all of this post again if nothing changes.

Screen and picture

Yes, this is possible if the player became too close to the camera x-ray emission. But may just be coincidental.

LCD screen is white

It is not likely that the x-ray machine goofed up your camera's circuit. It is more likely that the vibration on the plane loosened a flex connector, possibly a chip has failed. A reputable repair shop is the answer for this.

LCD Screen has has no light to it anymore

The backlight to the LCD in your camera went out. You're going to have to get it replaced. Find a local repair shop that handles these cameras and get an estimate. There's probably nothing wrong in the camera, it just needs a little lamp swapped. Good luck
