DVD player audio output direct to FPS2000

I want to purchase a new DVD player and route the surround sound audio directly to my FPS2000. However, I can't seem to find a DVD player whose output jacks include either the 9-pin SPDIF cable or the Front/Rear channel jacks called for by the FPS2000.

How can I get surround sound audio from a modern DVD output jack to my FPS2000?? Is there an adapter that would work?
