Question about Kenmore 21.7 cu. ft. Top Mount Refrigerator w/Factory Installed Ice Maker
Top does freeze, but not enough to keep ice cream; however milk and ice cubes do freeze... the bottom is not cold enough. I have unplugged, cleaned out in back etc... and replugged about 5 hours ago... still not working properly... what now??
Did you remove the back freezer panel ? if not need to
is there a large anmount of frost on the coil behind the panel?
if there is thaw the coil with a hair dryer
if there is no frost on the coil you have a sealed system problem that will nee to be taken care of by a tech
if frost is on the coil you have a defrost heater defrost thermastat or defrost timer that is bad
