Question about Refrigerators
The fault looks like the cold air flow is choked . Look behind the panel of the freezer, the duct to the fridge, there must be flow of cold air. If so remove the back panel of the freezer and check if the fan is working , if there is frost build up on the duct to the fridge. If so the auto defrost is not working. This is a timer located at the bottom rear of the fridge which will activate the heaters over a period of 8 hours cycle.
If there is no frost within as you mentioned it was put off for 24 hours, then it can be only the flow .
Trace from the flow area of the fridge to inspect for the block as there is nothing like a first view than to speculate.
