Question about Televison & Video
You need to connect the dvd recorder directly to the cable box:At the back of the box you can see that there are different possible connectors. Use the HDMI to send the signal to the tv and the Composite and audio connectors (yellow , red and white) to the recorder. At the back of the recorder you will see that there are several separate sets of inputs - plug in the cable from the box in one of them.
This way you will have 2 signal sources and 2 cables there - one from the tv and the other from the box. You will be able to record from both - just select from the menu from which.
