Question about Amptron CMV-922D 19" Monitor
It looks as if it should be a couple of plastic buttons on the back or possibly slide out. Check to see if there is a safety screw holding it in. As this unit just snaps together. but it does look like on some variations it has a screw. Some came with a 2 piece stand as in the part that goes on the back of the lcd and a piece that is the foot of the stand. Determine which style stand it has and then try to pull it apart if there is no screw. If you need further assistance or have questions please let me know. thanks, midwest-tek

Tips for a great answer:
May 26, 2014 | Harley Davidson Motorcycles
1) Carefully lay the front of the unit face down on a flat, cushioned surface such as a quilt or blanket. Leave the stand protruding over the edge of the surface.
Extreme care should always be used when removing the pedestal stand to avoid damage to the LCD panel.
2) Remove the jack pack cover on the back of the TV to expose the pedestal stand screws. The jack pack cover can be removed without tools.
3) Remove the five screws shown in the diagram below. This will allow removal of the pedestal stand.
4) Once you have removed all five screws holding the pedestal stand in place, remove the pedestal stand from the TV by sliding the pedestal stand a way from the TV (Remorve 5, 4mm or 5/32" Allen Bolts from back of TV.)
