Hello, Sounds like the card you bought is not compatible with this older camera, try a 512 meg card.

Settings>Audio>look for sound cards. Make sure you have the right one selected. If there are more than one, try selecting one at a time and checking to see if that works.

There are some possible reasons why the sound is not working. It could be the volume control is in "MUTE", or the right sound card is not selected in the volume properties, or the speaker is defective.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Try to connect an external 2-channeled PC speaker. The computer should recognize the speaker and the sound should be transferred to the PC speaker. Before you install the new driver you have to uninstall the previous version and then you have to restart your system.

If this don't work then these could be the reasons..

1. The downloaded driver is corrupt of some file is missing,
2. You have not downloaded the right version for your system.
