Question about Honeywell Heating & Cooling
No... Aux. is auxiliary heat strip. This is usually a white or black wire its up to the choice of the installers preferance. O or orange wire. is used to the reversing valve on a heat pump. If you do have a heat pump there is a programing section inside the Honeywell t-stat. which should say heat pump or straight cool, then another section that will ask if you want the reversing valve to energize in heat or cool. most Heat Pump brands energize in cool the exception is Rheem and Ruud they energize in heat.
