Document sent to printer doesn't show up in print queue. Test page goes to queue, but gets "error printing". Troubleshooter doesn't find anything. Driver is newly installed. What can I do to fix?

Is the printer selected on your computer?
Is it plugged in and switched on at the power point?
Is the printer turned on at the printer?
Does the light come on on the printer?

If all the above happens then :

Look up changeing printers in "help".

Because you did not give any information about your computer operating system I can not give any further details.

When I try printing I am getting a data wait message then it prints pages and pages of rubbish

Looks like you have the wrong driver installed.
Go to, choose "Drivers and Downloads", make your way through the pages and download the correct driver for your OS.
Note: There are different drivers for 32 and 64-bit systems.

Uday.sourav@gmail.comMy HP DeskjetF380 all in 1 printer is not working at all. I tried millions of times but it does not start. There was no problem with the data cord. I think it is a internal problem....

check if you are having power, then if power is present after switching on does it initialize i.e ready to receive data. if yes try a self test page with the printer still disconnected from the pc. if it comes out ok connect your data cable and attempt to print a test page. if it comes out ok try a print job. if not try to change the data cable if still not working try re installing drivers. if you still dont come right try it on another pc. if nothing positive happens take it to a repair shop.

I can't print label from ZM400 PRINTER thru' serial port

There are a number of parameters for the serial port that have to match the pc. i would print out a config page from the printer via the menu, or power on with the cancel key held. then compare it with the settings on the pc. on the config page you should be looking for things like data bits, host control, parity etc.

Blank print out

This is laser scanner error message. The document is not being read from the data being sent. This could be a loose or damaged cable or bad scanner assembly. You can open it up and look for loose cables or connections to the board but otherwise if the scanner assembly is bad, it may require replacement. This should only be accomplished by a service professional as it is not a user serviceable problem.
