My rebel xsi won't turn on. there is nothing. I used it yesterday and it was fine. I changed the battery and still nothing! HELP!

Hi please try to do this and let me know. Remove the battery and give a look inside the battery compartment with spot light. Make sure that place are clean and there no damaged mark. Specially look the Battery connector pins. That should in proper place , not bend, not even sulfur layer there. Use ear buds and drop of alcohol for cleaning. After checking if every thing Ok then some how the power supply not able to connect the circuit board. Its happens when the connectivity cable disconnected or damaged, circuit board short or the power transformer stop working. For all this internal fault part confirmation you need to visit electronic repair center.

but before visit for repairing make sure the battery which one you use that's is fully charged with working condition. Thank you

Polaroid A500 digital camera pressed ON button, nothing happened with new AA batteries and SD card

Things to check first for a camera that won't turn on are battery contact points, and micro switches that are located on the battery and memory card doors. Troubleshooting tips on other things that need to be checked may be seen here. These tips won't work for every case, but they're worth a try.

Camera is stuck with lens out and won't turn on or

If this camera takes ordinary batteries you may have inserted them the wrong way around.
If it takes a rechargeable pack recharge it for average time recommended and try again.

Lense stuck out - camera powers on only briefly then stops - hear one "bing". Tried removing battery - does nothing with cable power only.

1. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera. Please make sure that you are installing a fresh/ fully charged battery c. Turn the camera on. 2. Without the memory card, turn your camera on. (If it works then it?s your memory card that is faulty) 3. Please test with the a different battery If you do not have access to another battery Try these steps instead: Please take the battery out of the camera. b. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the battery. If you camera doesn?t switch on you will need to order a no power repair with KODAK or a new cable. Camera won't turn on with new batteries or power cord

I heard from another posting on here and the answer, that someone took fine sandpaper and cleaned off the terminal ends of both battery and camera and blew out the dust particles from that before replacing the battery, then then camera worked. I have yet to try it with my Kodak camera that is 2 years old and suddenly died too! The batteries are fine and work in other cameras.
