There are many types available in the market - now being scare - but you can suit one with the same mount and size.
Some of the earlier models of cordless telephones have antennaes that can suit yourr requirement. Also check for old model radios to swap if you find there are no choices in the market.
If the old one is damaged or broken then you can mend it with mild gas welding.

How do I set the. Time

With the radio off, press and hold the ENTER (time set) Key DOWN. On the right side, there are 4 buttons with arrows on them. The inside ones set the timezone that you are in, the outside two will set the time. I just checked this on my ICF-SW100 and it works for me.

Go to an electronical components shop, especialized.
Ask for an telescopic aerial antenna, the same that has Pacific PP102W ( took the device to shop).

Sony icf sw100 broken battery case (the tooth on which the battery lid hinges)

Re Sony ICF-SW100 battery case lid.Ive had same problem with battery case lids on this these units, I used a strong rubber band around the length of the whole battery case to keep lid in place as no parts available in Australia. Love the radio, have had 4 over many years.

Telescope antenna cut apart Where I can get a new?

You should be able to get a new telescopic antenna from any good electronics store (including online) and it is very easy to change.

All you need is a screwdriver kit with a choice of bits. Take out the screw, pull out the old antenna and you will also find 2 brass washers as well.

When you replace the antenna, put it in place then fit one brass washer at either side (it may be a bit tricky - I always use a jewellers type screw driver at this point) and when all is aligned put the screw back in and tighten it up!

My sony world radio icf-sw100 wont turn on and i just put new batteries in it

Chances are the metalic "dome" under each button in question has rotated slightly out of position. This happened with the Sync button on my post-1997 SW100. Sunddenly no Sync function and nothing about Sync on the display. The problem is easily remedied if you're into radios. literally. (A friend fixed mine.) I know several individuals who might be willing to repair your unit. E-mail me for names? paul-diehl[at character]

Whatever your do, DO NOT SEND YOUR UNIT TO THE SONY REPAIR CENTER IN LAREDO. I sent mine in for the Sync repair and had it returned unrepaired, with "corrosion" given as the reason. I then had an electrical engineer take a look and he correctly diagnosed the problem in 90 seconds. Took him another 30 minutes to complete the repair, which required no new parts or soldering. By the way, he found NO CORROSON WHATSOEVER anywhere in the receiver. And by the way number two, SONY LAREDO returned my receiver with major dmagage to the chassis. After three frustrating months, I was finally able to get LAREDO to replace the part of chassis they'd broken. (They 'd counted on me not taking before and after photos.) Totally incompetent, totally unresponsive, totally dishonest (they said they'd ordered a new circuit board from Japan when they hadn't), just north of outright fraud. AVOID LAREDO AT ALL COSTS.
