My TI-83 numbers are not working properly. Rows LOG and LN are working at all.

on the back there are four spots with screws on them. take a screwdriver and remove them. then remove the front casing so that the inside of the calculator is exposed. if any of the wires are loose you can solder them back on. if nothing seems loose the physical button may be broken and you might need to get a new calculator. i would call Texas instruments to see if they will give you one for free. gl

How do I set up graph lines

in order to give the calculator a function to graph, you will want to enter the y= window by pressing the top left most button on the calculator. nintenman1.gif a menu similar to the one above will open, wherein you can enter an equation for the calculator to graph, such as (x^2-2). On the ti-83 itself, you can enter up to 9 equations to be graphed at once. after that, you may want to go to the window menu, where you can set the dimensions of the graphing plane in both the x row and y column. to view the graph, press the top right most button on the device.
hope that helps :)

I'm trying to find the fraction button on my texas instrument ti 83 plus calculator and cannot find it

There is no "fraction" button on the TI-83 plus. You will have to press the divide key (2 buttons below the CLEAR key) and then use the parentheses (immediately to the left of the divide key) to tell the calculator the correct order of operations. For example, "1/3x+9" means ".333333x+9", but "1/(3x)+9" means the "x" goes on the bottom of the fraction.

My ti-83 plus has OS problem

That happened to me a few years ago - my friend tried to give me his operating system, and my calculator was all locked up like that for a while. There's some kind of reset code - pressing some buttons while putting a battery in - but it's been a while, so I don't remember which buttons.
