This was set by the manufacturer, so that if anybody tried to break in and steal the radio, they were not able to operate it without a code......if you do not have this detail handy, you might try with the manufactur/dealership/original seller.......to see whether they have it on record.....

You need the theft code. You can buy it from the dealer or you can get it here for less. www.radio-codes.com

What is the pin code for a 2005 mitsubishi outlander

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Mitsubishi service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

I have instructions to re enter the code for my car radio but it is not accepting, I had a flat battery and had to ask Nissan for the code.

Asking Nissan is the only way to get the code, unless you have the documentation that was with the car when it was sold brand new.

This was done by car manufacturers many years ago to prevent theft of radios and CD players. If they are disconnected from the battery, they need a unique code to reset.

There is no universal code. Do not allow somebody to tell you that they can give you a universal code for 50 bucks or whatever.

When Nisan provides the code, they will also provide very specific instructions on how to enter it. Many dealers will do it for free.

Following a flat battery, my cd player won't work.

You dont need a code if your radio is working but your cd isnt. You just need to reset the cd player by finding a little small indent on the face and push it in with a sharp pen, pencil or paper clip. Some reset buttons are also found when you remove the face of the radio. You will notice it when you see a little small round hole. Push it in for at least 2 or 3 secs

Battery went flat so need radio code for renault megane

With the car, comes a plastic "infocard" with the radio and alarm codes. If you lost the card or didn't receive it with the purchase, you can ask for the code to the radio manufacturer, they'll ask you the serial number of the radio and the car and they'll send you the code.

I have a cd stuck in my cd player.. any tips for

Try turning the radio off and then disconnect the battery for 1 min. After reconnecting the battery, turn the radio on and this might reset the radio and the CD may come out. Good luck and hope this helps and just make sure the radio is off or the radio may ask for a radio code to have it functional again.

Ford 6006 cdc cd player wont accept correct code

Either the code is incorrect or you are using the wrong Code Entry Instructions.

To check your code POST ANOTHER QUESTION quoting the  radio`s SERIAL NUMBER  ( can be found on the radio casing or by pressing either buttons 1&6  or 2 & 6 )

It normally begins with M + + + + + + (or V or L or C )
