Skip the CD and use a USB thumbdrive. They are cheap and can be purchased nearly anywhere now, including most groceries and hardware stores. You will find it a whole lot easier to work with as well.

Sm bus for emachines w3503 were do i get it

The term: SM Bus is the same as chipset driver. Your e-Machine came with restore CD's. You can run the restore CD to repair your system, you shouldn't loose any data repairing windows.
If your able to load windows, load the driver CD from e-Machine and re-install the chipset drivers.

Cheers!
Mike

Tried recovering to original state from CD and now it will on start up in Safe mode.

It is possible that the CD you used did not load in all of the necessary drivers for the motherboard chip set and other hardware. If you do not have another disk, double check the one you have to see if it contains a seperate folder for drivers. If not, go to emachines.com and see if you can find driver downloads for your particular machine.

Remove the emachine/PC ANGEL RECOVERY SOFTWARE

PC angel isn't installed as such it uses the desktop.ini to load its software.

desktop.ini is used to by windows to customise the view of individal folders in windows.

if you know how go to command prompt
type in;
attrib -h -r -s -a c:\folder\*.* /d /s
( replace c:\folder with the drive/folder of the protected folder )
next type in
del c:\folder\desktop.ini
( Again replace c:\folder with the drive/folder of the protected folder)

Bye bye protection for that folder
