Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Virus problems with Norton 360

Download a different virus-scanner, e.g., from http://www.prevx.com and run it.

Or, start Internet Explorer, and access: http://cainternetsecurity.net/entscanner/ -- this is a virus-scanner that runs "inside" Internet Explorer.

Wireless internet connection issue

Hi,

Try these steps below.

ø Try to use the website IP address in IE.
ø Disable/Configure Norton Personal Firewall from Norton Internet Security.
ø Disable Windows Firewall.
ø Disable/Enable IE proxy settings, if available.
ø Uninstall Norton by downloading & installing the Norton Removal Tool

If you are not able to connect to the internet after performing these steps then it is not any issue with the wireless and then you need to contact your ISP.

Plz try it and get back..

Regards,

Dreamkam

Symantec Client Firewall is blocking my Internet connection

I would recommend disabling the Norton firewall portion of the software, keep it's antivirus side if you wish, and use Windows Firewall for best compatibility.

I have access to the internet but something is blocking me from downloading the viewer for go to my pc. I am getting an error. I think it has something to do with my norton 360

The first thing I would do, and of course make sure that you are downloading go to my pc from a trusted source, is temporarily disable Norton 360. Also it may help to go the control panel and disable the windows firewall if active. Hopefully this helps, and don't forget to turn Norton back on!

Have just installed norton 360 not purchased from norton .now cannot access my previous account please help.

when you say youve purchased norton 360 not from norton, you mean retail right? if you still remember your account details and still you cant access it, pls try to revert to the old norton for you to access your account and do an upgrade to your norton. you dont have to uninstall it because youre using n360 which automatically does this for you.

you will get a run box
typein MSCONFIG and press ok
you will get system configuration utility
click on services tab
at bottom there is an option which has a box and a message hide all microsoft applications
now whatever you see has symantic or norton written next to it uncheck that
click on aply then close
you will get a popup to restart your computer just click on restart
once your computer restart
the very first message on the desktop will be a pop up box and you will find a box next to which you will se do not show me this message in future
now norton is disabled you can get in contact with your ISP so that they may provide you troubleshooting which they were unable to due because of norton.
