The voice coils are shot. It's easier to get a new pair as this is a very tidious procedure and not done these days for these kinds of readliy available speakers.

When driving I press on the brakes and they push back up and it's hard to stop what could be wrong I checked the brake fluid and the lid was open a little

Try a brake servo test by pumping the brake pedal until hard and keeping pressure on the pedal and start the engine and if the servo is working the pedal should move down slightly if not servo is faulty
If you have ABS the pump could be faulty and that needs a trained engineer to test and repair if possible

I have a Panasonic KX FLB881 MFC Laser Printer purchased in 2/09. Problems started about 60 days ago. Incoming fax calls ring and ring and the unit will not pick-up. Shortly thereafter network...

The printer has gone into cascade failure, it would require circuit boards to be replaced and with the history I would use it strictly as a printer. The cost of repair would put you over the price you originally paid for the unit, and as you pointed out the mechanics of the item is still fine, I agree with the fact use it until it breaks down.

Camera says focus error and lens won't close or is stuck.

Hi, the chances are you the lens motor has packed up, how ever it could also just be a bit of grit stopping it from working so try doing the following.
1 remove battery and any memory cards you may have in the camera
2 now hold the camera in one hand and hit it into the palm of the other hand try doing this three or four times, it wont damage the camera as your hitting it into a soft surface but doing this will sometimes get the motor working or free up any grit that is stopping it from working
3 now put battery back in and give it a try

if it still dont work then try the following.
if the lense is stuck in closed possition what you need to do is as you turn the camera on try turning the lens round at the same time as turning it on, if the lens is out slightly then as you switch it on pull the lens a bit more or when it switches off push the lens in slightly, doing this usually frees up any stuck lense.
if their is an opening where you can say get a pin in to try and force the lens out slightly then try doing that you only need it to move slightly to free the motor up, if you do this then after you have got the lens to move try switching the camera back on and see what happens.

now the problem could be that the camera has been put down whilst the lens was still out and this could have cause the lens to stop working so moving it slightly usually gets it to reset and start working again.

if the lens is out slightly when the camera is off then switch the camera on then when it switches off push the lens back into the camera into its off possition.
if after doing all that it still dont work then the chances are the lens motor has stopped working all together and will need replacing, now the problem with this is that the cost of repair would cost more than buying a new camera thats why most camera shops wont repair this type of camera so if after doing the above nothing happens then the chances are the camera is beyond repair or beyond economical repair and its time to get new camera.

to recoup so money back you could sell it on the well known auction site as spares or repairs, people who can repair camera's themselves or need spares off yours would be interested in buying it for spare parts, just remember to keep any memory card thats in the camera so as you keep your pictures.

if you have pictures stored on the camera then all you need to do is plug it into your pc and transfer them to your pc then delete all the pictures on the camera if you dont want anybody else to see your pictures.

i hope that has been some help to you.

im sorry their is no easy fix but when it comes to these style of camera their is just no point in paying to have them fixed as the parts and labour would cost more than the camera is worth, if you had a $1000 camera then it would be worth getting repaired and any camera shop would do the repair but with these types knowbody touches them its just not financially worth it.

i fix camera's at home for friends and family and also buy camera's and phones to repair as i can do the work myself and have the equipment to do the work, but shops just wont touch these camera's due to the financial loss in repairing them.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
