SOURCE: Find the magnitude of the velocity of the canoe relative to the r

Firstly, though the answer is expressed as an angle "south" of west, the canoe will be traveling southeast, so the degree should be read south of east, not south of west. The ultimate velocity of the canoe will me 1.065 m/s.  The direction is 22 degrees south of east, or 158 degrees from West, but not 158 degrees south of west, since beyond 90 degrees south of west you have south. I used trig and I passed calculus so I'm pretty sure i'm right.

When it's the first word of a sentence or as part of a proper noun or name.

For example: I'm going down to the river.
as opposed to: We're going down the Mississippi River.

Where is the Red River? In Texas

the Red River is the second-largest river basin in the southern Great Plains.[4] It rises in two branches (forks) in the Texas Panhandle and flows east, where it acts as the border between the states of Texas and Oklahoma. It forms a short border between Texas and Arkansas before entering Arkansas, turning south near Fulton, Arkansas and flowing into Louisiana, where it flows into the Atchafalaya River. The total length of the river is 1,360 miles (2,190 km), with a mean flow of over 57,000 cubic feet per second (1,600 m3/s) at the mouth.

Does the dark moon rise on the south side of the bay

No, sorry. The mean inclination of the lunar orbit relative to the ecliptic plane is merely 5.145 degrees. Just like the sun it rises in general eastern direction and sets in western direction, it will not touch the horizon in the south or north of any location on earth.

This result is independent of the moon phase which is solely determined by sun, moon and earth's relative positioning. The dark (or new moon) is simply not illuminated by the sun on the section visible from earth but still rises in the east.

Where is river Nile is situated?

The nine countries through which the river Nile flows are Sudan, Burundi, Rwanda, DR Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia and Egypt. River Nile basically is a huge north flowing river based in Africa, often regarded as the longest flowing river on planet earth, though some people believe the Amazon in South America is much longer. The river Nile has two key tributaries known as the White Nile and Blue Nile, the second one being the main source of Nile's water and fertile soil. The White Nile originates from the Great Lakes region of central Africa. From Blurtit.com Farmerbear at FixYa.com
