Hello,

The food and freezer sections will go dysfunctional if the evaporator fan is not working properly. This is because then there will be no airflow to the freezer or the other sections of the refrigerator. Confirm if both the fans are working well by listening to the sound emitted by them. There is a possibility that one may work and the other wont. For that, may be you would have to look for a blockage or something in the one which is not working. Even after doing this you do not find any problem in the fan, you may need to replace it because it may be defective and need to be replaced to solve the problem.

Take care.

hi,
some vehicles have a synchronised twin electric fan system that operates only when the AC is turned on, can you manually turn off the AC and see if that changes what you have just described.
If not then the climate air ( AC ) sensor may be faulty.

Fan will not turn off

which fan? Interior fan, or radiator cooling fan? Is it the radiator cooling fan, or the fan controlled by the air-conditioning?

Run the vehicle, turn on and off the air-conditioning to identify which of the fans in the engine bay is the one triggered by the air-con and which is the primary cooling fan.
If the primary cooling fan is permanently engaged, then first try replacing it's relay as it may have fused closed.

Replaced relay, but both electric fans won't come on

Are we talking about the cooling fans for the engine and AC condenser?? Only one cooling fan will cycle on and off during normal operation. The main cooling fan will cycle on and off as needed for cooling the engine. If you turn on the AC or select a defrost mode on your climate control then the 2nd additional fan will run usually continuously in order to condense the freon in your AC system for cooling the interior of your car and in defrost mode it helps to reduce interior moisture on the glass (defog/ defrost). If no fan comes on at any time whether the engine is hot or cold or whether you turn on the AC or not and you have already replaced a cooling fan relay and checked related fuses then either the fan /s are bad or you dont have power in or out of the fan circuit which consists of several components that would need to be checked. Let us know if you find anything else or have additional questions.

For windows, try to clean the relay from the engine compartiment, may be is an imperfect contact. About the interior fan is normaly, at volvo s60, because it has a sensor, and the fan start to clean your ventilation sistem. It runs only 7 minutes, than it's stops. you don't have to wory. Sorry for, my english, but i'm from Romania. I hope you understand

I have an amana package system heat pump model number phb30c02e , sometimes the indoor blower will not kick on thus making no air come in the home at all throught the vents, i tried a new copasitor and ...

Sometimes the thermostat can have a burnt place in the fan contacts. This stops the interior fan motor because the compressor wiring is not interconnected to the interior fan. The compressor command is the yellow wire. The interior fan command arrives from the thermostat on the green wire. Check the green wire for delivering 24 volts AC to the fan relay.

During heat, the heat is electrically interconnected with the interior fan. Thus, if the thermostat is bad, the fan will work properly during heating. I know July is a bad time to turn the heat on, but this is a method to see if the interior fan works properly and is not getting the proper command during cooling.

FAN INSTALLaTION

you can put the fan anywhere that it fits.  You can never add too many.  I have two added fans in mine. I put one in the front and one on the back (inside) where there are vent holes.  Have the fans blowing in the same direction, towards the rear.  Make sure the fans don't rub on any boards.

Your computer has one fan in the power supply and/or a small one on the cpu.  You may not need more than that.
