How do I change the time on a versigen oven, it turns off even when being used on manual

Its not a microwave oven, its a regeneration oven, goes from chill to heat. It can be set on a 7 day clock, but that is totally messed up. We have been using it on manual over ride, but it will still turn itself off at the wrong time, so its got a glitch somewhere. I need some directions for it.

Unplug the oven for five minutes . This will allow the control processor to reset , or reboot itself . Then try to set the clock feature . If this does not work , you may have a faulty control processor and it may have to be replaced . However , try the above steps first . If this does not work give me the model number and I will see what I can find out for you .

Follow these steps for help:
•1
Pressing the clock button will display the time. You can also use this to know what time it is while cooking.
•2
Set the clock by pressing the "Clock" button.
•3
Turning the dial on the microwave oven will display the hour of the day. Once you have found the correct hour, press the dial in.
•4
Again, turn the dial to set the minutes of the day. When this is completed, you will need to press the dial in again on the GE sensor microwave oven.
•5
When the time and minutes are set, turn the dial again for a.m. or p.m. Then you will need to press the dial in to save the settings.
•6
Press the "Start" button to allow the clock to begin on the microwave oven.

I used the clean oven button for the first time. After an hour I turned it off. Now my oven remains in the locked position. Help

Give it a little time. Until the oven cools the door will remain locked. You will have to manually move the latch when it cools

See the link:
  • It will not unlock until time has elapsed. It locks for your safety during the high temperature cleaning mode. Some will stay locked for the entire time even if you cancel. Some will unlock when the "brain" is sure the oven is still cool.

Both ovens cannot keep tempreture, even small oven which has been used few times

A variation of 5- 10% is actually normal since the mechanisms that signal the oven to turn on & off need to be great enough to stimulate the heating activation mechanisms. I've also heard that variation of 25-50 degrees is normal. I know this sound absurd. But there is hope. If the temp change is consistent you can anticipate the difference. For instance, I have an oven that always needs 20 minutes more for turkey and another takes 4 minutes less for muffins. The answer is add or subtract based on experience with the appliance. Unless the appliance is outside of the manufacturer's specifications there may not be anything wrong at all. Good Lock.

Try turning the power off to the oven at the meter box and leaving it off for an hour or so. This will allow it to fully reset. When you power up again, reset the clock time and set to manual cooking , hopefully , all will work again.

Did you try the light switch on the control panel? If it's turned on, the door plunger will not turn the light off.

Page 22
Of the service manual shows your diagram. The oven sensor should read 1100 ohms @room temp (75f) All these new fangled electronically controlled ovens use a sensor. The negative temp coefficient sensor relays back changes in resistance whenever the temp changes inside the oven. If that sensor is not correct, open, or shorted to frame then the control will not function properly.

Turn off the timer on an old imperial st george

I have this exact same oven and this "feature" annoys me no end. To turn it off ... turn the clock dial to PAST the time that the timer dial shows. EG: If your timer dial is showing 6, turn the clock dial so that it rolls past 6 o'clock. This will pop out the timer dial and thus turn off the timer, allowing you to use the oven normally.

To stop accidentally pushing/turning that timer dial, I removed the knobs. Good luck.

U60 Cooling Fan message on Decor MOV130

First, try to clear the code. To do this you must push and hold # and 'cancel' at the same time until the screen asks for an ID code. Then type in (using the key pad) S1234 (you get S by pressing 7 five times) Then simply press 'clear all' and the code should disappear.

If that doesnt work then pull the oven from the wall by removing the door and unscrewing the stainless steel trim. Pull the oven straight out and attatch the pull handles to pull it completely out. Next, place the oven on a secure stand (such as a milk crate). Then turn off the breaker to all electricity in your kitchen and confirm the power is off. Then, using a 'Torx' brand bit, take off the sheetmetal cover on top of the oven. Download a service manual to your oven and check power to the fan as described in the manual. You can find service manuals on the web (do not use owners manuals) Next, check power at the Hall effect sensor as described in the manual. You just need a volt-ohm meter to do these tests. The manual describes it well. If these tests confirm the fan is not defective, you need a relay board. Dacor part #101559. I got one for $165 last week from Dacor. 99% of the time this is the problem and the boards are even back-ordered. Dont be critical of Dacor, the ovens work well. My advice is just to buy the extended warranty when you get one. Like any high performance machine, they run well if cared for by experts.

AEG oven switches itself off after 35 mins

does it turn off after the oven has got upto temperature if it does it is probably that your thermostat has gone as this cuts off as a safety feature if your oven gets hotter than the thermo setting then it will shut off to protect from over heating or causing a fire hazzard with high temperature are you sure you havent changed the timer as well cus you can set a timer for your oven to switch on at certain time and to also switch off after a certain time if you still have the manuall have a look through the timer section if you do not have a manuall then check on your makers web site these should have a manuall online for you to check first i would check that the timer is not on if i can find you a manuall online i will post back hope this is some help.................
