I have just discovered that if you pause the player and then let it shut off on its own then press pause again later to wake up the unit and again it will pick up where you were. Now, I don't know if it uses any battery life when it's sleeping so will just have to experiment there. But the key here seems to be NOT actually turning it off. Turning it off will reset it to song #1 every single time. Which is really obnoxious.
mode: for repeat
10+Album: to change song more than 10 like 11 19 Skip/Search: press one time will go to next song press and hold search the song Play/Pause: start playing song or make it stop Stop : stop the song you are playing Eq/Prog : setting menu Vol+- increase or decrease the sound
Sounds like the player is running in INTRO mode, only playing the first part of each song. To change playback mode, follow the steps as described below.
Switch the player ON and start music playback:
1. Press PLAY button to START music to play
2. Press PLAY button again to PAUSE the playback
3. Press MODE button to enter playback mode selection
4. Scroll with MODE button through selections
5. Press MODE button when selection REPEAT is in the display
6. Use MODE button to select from: Normal, Repeat One, Repeat within current Folder (if any), Repeat Folders (if any), Repeat All songs, Random Play back, and Intro
7. Press MODE button to confirm selection
Whilst the song is playing, press menu. A menu will come up with the first option being Repeat. Press play and another menu will appear. About half way down is repeat one. Click onto it and press play.
I've had this happen a couple of times in the last 6 months. You can get it to play again by chosing the format option from the settings menu. Of course, then you've lost everything you had loaded on to it. Download your music/audio books again and they will play.
