can just post what is printed on the transistor ? or what is printed on the board?
like Q6, RX , , is it on the main amp or preamp? These amp can work even without

the power transistors connected ( in pairs ) only for troubleshooting

SOURCE: bass amp settings

For rock and slapping you are going to want to set the Bass and Treble controls high and the Mids low. For music such as Jazz you are going to want more mids so that your sound will be fatter. If there is a button marked "Mid-Scoop" you'll want that on when slapping.

SOURCE: Peavey TNT 160 has no response from both inputs, only preamp in

In my experience fuses rarely blow due to age! I suspect that whatever the guy said the problem was it was really a faulty transistors or IC in the power amp board.
You can check transistors with an Ohm meter in circuit to some extent. (the ones with a scale and needle are best for this) Look for a short between the terminals of each power transistor on the heat sink first. If any transistor sends the meter full across (both ways) you have found the fault.

SOURCE: Peavey TNT115 AMP cuts out

The problem is in amplifier section caused by change value resistor or leak capacitor or cold ,loose or crack solder joint parts this the common problem of over heating and shuts out the amplifier caused by abnormal distribution of current, try to check all the capacitor and resistor and replaced the defected parts ,so your receivers works normal again.

Hope it may help you;

There could be so many things wrong with it, but personally I find the most likely problem is the power supply.

Peavey tnt 115 blowing fuses

your either overloading something cause that's what pops fuses. My guess is that what your plugging in or into has a ground issue. I'm wondering if it does it with nothing plugged in at all. I would say if you have nothing in and it does it, you need to find where the ground issue is. that's my best guess

Very unlikely, sounds like it's faulty. Was this on plugging in or were you using the amp, and if so doing what? What is your supply oltage?

There are some burnt carbon resistors beyond recognition on a peavey tnt bass combo.so I need the schematic diagram

Try these schematics:

http://elektrotanya.com/peavey_tnt115s_sch.pdf/download.html

http://elektrotanya.com/peavey_tnt_100_1974.pdf/download.html

Scroll down to "Get Manual" at the web page and click on it to download.

Please note that on the first schematic above, the power amp schematic is way down beyond the parts list and layout of the preamp section... keep scrolling. ALSO the powoer amp shows a real WIERD connection where the output transistors drive against ground and the center tap of the power supply transformer for the power amp portion then bounces around with the audio output... that is a wierd connection but it is possible.

Muffled Pulsing sound comng from my peavey TNT Bass amp?? help!

Funny how most problems I hear about amps and such happen to be from a Peavey product. I am a sound engineer and I wouldn't use peavey for a paper weight! Try trading it in for a better product.
