Nakamichi av-1 receiver (by 2 users)

Have to turn the volume all the way up to hear the speakers. Never had to turn above more than 2 or 3 dots to hear well. Any suggestions

i had the same problem yesterday. I pressed something on the remote and now I have to turn the sound way up to hear any music but barely..what should i do?
