It could be 2 things.

1. You need to clean your lens.
2. Your lens is dead, and you would need to get it replaced.

Playstation2 will not play black discs

Are there any visible scratches on the black discs? If so i would recommend getting them resurfaced at your local game store.
If there is no damage to the disk then it is more likely than not down to the PS2 laser, as they get older they struggle to read more and more until they will only read perfect white disks or nothing at all. Give the laser a good clean with some solvent, being careful not to scratch it.

My playstaion 2 wont play any discs

The eye in the tray might be scratched or damaged. This happens with age and the way the Playstation has been setting as well. It is more likely to wear out faster when it is standing upright. Try to play a movie or a game with the playstation in the horizontal way. If not the eye could possibly be damaged beyond repair.

Game cube won't read me discs

purchase a CD scratch removal kit from a store or garage sale. You will have a very hard time getting the scratches out smoothly without the machine.

Scratches

On game discs? Yes, there is a company called DVD Doctor that makes a small machine that actually polishes discs. They're not too expensive, and can usually be found at most major department stores.
I have one, and yes, they do actually work, unless the scratch is too deep, and some medium scratches might have to be run through it a few times. If you hold the disc up to the light and you can see light coming through the scratch marks, then the disc is probably ruined.
Good luck!

Ps2 keeps saying disk read error everytime disk is put in no matter what disk is put in what can i do to fix

  • Confirm the disc is inserted correctly into the PlayStation 2 console (label side should be facing up when the PlayStation 2 console is in the horizontal position).
  • Confirm the disc is clean. To clean a disc, use lint-free cleaning cloths made specifically for cleaning CD/DVD discs, sold at computer software stores. When cleaning the disc, we recommend starting from the innermost circle, and wiping out to the edge in a straight line. We do not recommend wiping in a circular motion, as it may create more scratches on the disc. [Note: Other materials, such as a paper towel or a T-shirt, may also scratch the disc. If there are any scratches, smudges, or fingerprints on the disc, it may not function properly.]
  • Try playing different CDs, DVDs, and games on the PlayStation 2 console to see if the problem exists across multiple discs.
  • To determine if the problem is with the disc itself, try playing the disc on a different PlayStation 2 console (or a PS oneTM or a standalone CD/DVD player, if applicable).
  • Confirm that you are not using any game modification devices. Unlicensed devices such as game modification devices can interfere with the proper function of the software. We do not recommend the use of any game modification devices or unlicensed products[1].
