Mouse not responding

Clean the PC Mouse
1. Unplug the mouse, turn it over, then twist the retaining ring counter clockwise to remove it. Remove the trackball inside the mouse.

2.Clean the trackball with warm water and dry carefully. Clean the rollers inside the mouse with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. Replace the trackball then secure it with the retaining ring.

3.Clean the outside of the mouse with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. Use a small amount on one area at a time. For an optical mouse, clean the bottom of the mouse and the surface it sits on with a damp cloth.
Fix PC Mouse Problems

1.Plug the mouse back in. The connector will either be USB or PS/2. A PS/2 connector is color-coded green and can only be inserted in one direction. Check for any bent or broken pins, then carefully plug it in making sure the connection is secure. Reboot the computer, and then test the mouse.

2.Connect the mouse to another computer. After the mouse is connected to a different computer, reboot the system, and then test the mouse. If your mouse works on another computer, the problem is most likely with your PC or operating system

3.Check for device conflicts. When you install another device on your computer it can sometimes cause conflicts with a PC mouse. Remove any new hardware and drivers you may have installed then reboot the computer.

4.Reinstall PC mouse drivers. In Windows, open "Control Panel" then "System." Select the "Device Driver" tab then scroll to and select your mouse. Uninstall any drivers that are listed. Unplug the mouse then reboot the PC. Reboot the system again, plug the mouse back in, then allow Windows to reinstall the drivers if prompted.

Thanks......Have a great time.

My Gigaware optical mouse 26-126 will work sometimes then will stop. Try plugging in USB again but get message 'USB Devise not Recognized'

try to reinstall the driver for your USB, if done and still getting the same problem, the problem would be the port it self, try to use other port of the computer

Gigaware microphone 33-124 no sound with Windows XP SP3

Does it show a message like "unknown device" in winXp? then probably it needs an installer in order for a device to work properly, but if its working in the other computers running winxp then probably your own computer you are using have a problem with the usb ports on it. Hope this could help..

I have D1025TM monitor. The Device manager shows that as a other device and ask to updaste driver. I cannot find the di\rivers. I also need softwere for Gigawere webcam.

You didn't list the model of camera so here is a link to a driver (hope its the proper model). You will see a section showing 4 matches. Click on the driver link.

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?parentPage=search&summary=summary&cp=&productId=2473604&accessories=accessories&kw=gigaware+webcam&techSpecs=techSpecs&currentTab=summary&custRatings=custRatings&sr=1&features=features&origkw=gigaware+webcam&support=support&tab=support

As for the monitor, does it have usb ports?, speakers? It may be these requiring a driver.

I have a logitech wireless mouse, i don't have the manuel or anything that came with it and i'm trying to connect it to my home desktop computer.. the piece that connects to the computer works the lights...

Click on the connect button on the remote (part connected to the PC) and click on the connect button on the mouse. Move the mouse around after you press that button. It should connect.

Also make sure your batteries are fresh.

Once working, I've found that Microsoft's Intelli mouse driver does a better job then Logitech drivers.

I own a logitech cordless mouse that i just replaced new batteries with and I cannot get it to connect to my computer.

Install and run Logitech's Connect utility, from their support site, as listed under drivers for your mouse's model.

Im trying to run a new mikomi am-2210 3 button optical mouse.it lights up at start of computor but light fails to remain on and therefore has no power

The mouse does not need any driver, then when there is no problem it will work straightforward. When light goes off it means the mouse is not powered anymore, this is easily caused by a broken contact in the mouse or the connector.
Disconnect the computer power cable ( and remove battery if it is a laptop) for 20 minutes, this will get rid of eventual electrostatic problems on usb.
Connect the mouse before starting the computer.
Connect the mouse to a different pug, if you have a different computer also test it on the other computer, to ensure that is not a problem with windows.
If it still does not work , then it is probably faulty, take it back to the shop and ask a replacement.

Regards.

Wireless mouse will not work

Look on the bottom of the mouse for a connect button and also on the wireless receiver. Push the button on the mouse first, release and then push the button on the receiver.
