What do you mean, breather tubes??? if you have fuel coming out the carburetor then your float level is too high and needs to be addressed. could be trash between the needle and seat or a worn out needle and seat. repair as quickly as possible as this will cause a rich fuel mix in the cylinders and can wash off the oil causing excessive cylinder wear. this also could be the source of your vibration problem.

Oil in the carb

Without any real detail about year, filter type or where the oil actually is "in" the carb I will try to answer. Oil can come from a few sources. The first is the breather tubes from the engine. If there is excessive blow-by the pistons, oil will be drawn into the carb through these tubes. There are also rubber check valves on top of the heads that can harden and cause the same issue. The last one is excess oil from a oiled cotton style filter (K&N). Either way, while in the garage, remove the air cleaner but leave the breather tubes connected. Get the motor up to temp and watch the tubes while reving the motor. If you see a heavy oil mist from the tubes perform a leak down check on each cylinder to identify the problem area.

Blowby in 2003 1200 custom harley

The unit I had the best luck with is the whimmer big air kit. I've installed a couple of them and the customer's really like them. You can also run your oil level on the low side as well. That will help reduce the amount of oil whisping through the air filter. Remember that when yo replace the umbrella valves that you update your breather kit to the newer style. I believe you have the multiple piece breather assembly. The newer metal one piecr seems to work really well too.

Oil breather pushing oil

yea exactly as flstf93 says
and how about induction and the filter box? Does it match the increased air demand? but first start off with the breather kit really.

2005 v-twin fouled plugs

Fouling can be serious..... or not ....can just be the enricher on to long or worn/bad piston rings. Burning oil and smoking would also indicate bad rings. Could also just be bad plugs. Make sure you got the right ones in there. For $ 4.00 go get new ones at the dealer. Do a compression test - If its OK (over 90 and both within 5 lbs) .... its not the rings. Make sure you have the right amount of oil, and (believe it or not) a weak battery can cause the problems u describe, so check that out as well.

good luck.....let me know how it goes, OK ?

Pulling oil through carb breather

By "pulling oil through the carb breather" I assume you mean air breather? The solution to that is to buy an aftermarket "horseshoe" breather. Check Drag Specialties, V Twin Products, etc.

Electrical problems and **** in the gas tank can cause misfires. It sounds more electrical in your case. But draining and flushing the gas tank is a cheap fix. Could also be a coil or spark plug problem. Check for a faulty, fouled or cracked plug, check for a good spark, check the coil for carbon tracking. Check the plug wire connections too and the wires.

Check the breather ports on the heads. If they are not venting correctly, partially plugged, or you don't have a large enough diameter tubing for the ventilation it will cause this.
