Question about Panasonic PT-47WXC43 47" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Conversion Problem Can somebody please help me with this ? I have changed the conversion IC's, worked for a while and then back to blinking 3 times. Checked the 1 Ohm resistors, they seem fine, the 2.2's Ohm next to the STK's, reads fine on the multimeter.Diodes, voltage regulator, they seem ok too. any idea what is blowing the STK's? Should I be looking at the video board instead of the power board? also would it be possible that the rom board is bad? Thank you

Did you remove one side of the resistors before checking them with the ohms meter? They have to be out of circuit to accurately check them. Also you need to be careful where you purchase the ICs as alot of places sell the chap chinese versions and they often fail within a few days. Heres a link where you can get quality ICs and resistors as well as free tech support.

HOW VOLUME CONVERSIONS ARE DONE?

On the calculator there are conversions of capacity (gallons (US or UK) to liters, liters to gallons (Us), gallons(UK) but there are no conversions from ft^3 to m^3. However you have the basic conversions from in to cm, cm to in, yd to m and m to yd. That is all you need.
To use the calculator to perform a conversion from ft to meters, you enter the number of feet, you press [SHIFT][8] (Conv).
The calculator prompts you to enter a number between 01 and 40. Each number corresponds to a particular conversion. In this case you enter 03
For example convert 3 ft to meters.
Enter 3
Press [SHIFT][8] (Conv)
Prompt: CONVERSION Number 01--40
You enter 03 (ft to m) and press [=]
Calculator displays 3 ft >m, and on the second line 0.9144
Thus 3 ft=0.9144 m
Once you know how to convert one unit of length to another, you get the volume by raising conversion to the 3rd power.
For this to work, you must convert all dimensions to the same unit.

RCA Easy Rip is converting a video, but it keeps aborting the conversion, which is difficult as the conversion is an extremely slow process. Is there a way to resume the aborted conversion rather than...

Hi usddtt...
No you have to restart the conversion from the beginning when conversion is aborted.
Try this conversion softwear, it is quite fast.

How do you use the Exch rate mode? I think I know

From CASIO FAQ:

How do change the currency rate?

When you press the [M/EX] key, it toggles between conversion mode and memory mode. You will see "EXCH" on the display when in conversion mode.
C1, C2, and C3 are three conversion rates. C1 is your home country currency, and so it is always set to 1. C2 and C3 are rates for two other countries, which you can change.
For example, if you want to set a conversion rate of $1 to 0.95 euros, here is what you would do (using C1 for US dollars and C2 for euros):
1. Press [AC]
2. Hold [SET/%] for about two seconds until "SET" appears
3. Press [C2] to select currency 2
4. Input the conversion rate (0.95) and then press [SET/%] to store it in memory
You can check the currently set rate at any time by pressing [AC] and then [C2].

How do I perform a currency conversion?

If you want to convert 100 euros to US dollars, you would do the following (assuming you are using C1 for US dollars and C2 for euros):
1. Press [AC]
2. Enter 100 and then press [C2]
3. Press [C1] to convert to dollars
4. To convert back to euros again, press [C2]
You can also perform a currency conversion within a calculation. How much in US dollars would five items selling at 100 euros cost?
1. Press [AC]
2. Enter 5 [×] 100 and then press [C2]
3. Press [C1] [=]
