I have a Dolphin Orbit diagnostic pool cleaner approx 3 years old haven't used it for some months. Put it back in the pool and now it won't work any suggestions

Are you sure the hose is not clogged with leaves or other debris from the pool?

If the dolphin is falling backward when it meets the water line, there is an easy fix. The automatic pool cleaners often have this problem. The easiest solution is to remove the handle floats and attach an 8 oz weight to the bottom inlet cover.

Have a dolphin orbit pool cleaner and the cord just winds itself in knots all the time and then takes us a long time to wind it back. This machine is new and our old one never did this what is happening

It is usually either the power supply or the motor unit or both. None of those items are considered do-it-yourself repairs. If the unit is several years old and in need of repair and also the replacement of wear items such as brushes and/or tracks, it can be cost prohibitive to fix. It is helpful if you get the serial number from the units casing when you contact us or Maytronics so we have an idea of how old it is.

Does your power supply have the fuse on the back of it? If so, check the fuse. If not, send it in for warranty service using our dolphin service form at www.arrowpools.net.
