I have an epson stylus SX410/TX410 printer, copier and supposedly a scanner. However, we cannot see how you scan to a computer and cannot see the scan button. Advise please
Trash and re-install the drivers.
To uninstall the drivers:
- trash epson scan and epson scanner monitor from applications.
- go to library, then application support, then trash epson scanner module.
- go to library, then image capture, then trash twain data sources.
- go to the harddrive. Then to users, then click on the name of your computer. Then click on library, then preferences, then epson, then trash epson scan.
Then log on to epson.com and get the compatible driver for 10.5.6. Install it on your computer.
Hi , If you have a windows XP PC then you just need to plug the USB to the pc and default printer driver will be loaded and should be fine, If its not takeing then download driver from the below link. There is 4 buttons on the left hand side of the unit, these are for copying only. the scanning component of you printer is software driven. You will need to have setup the Epson scanning utilities on your computer. These came with the printer when you purchased it, however are also available for download from Epson in your country / region. Just go to www.epson.com and select your country and download the scanning utilities for your printer.
Yes the bub for it needs replacement. please consult a service technician that is accredited by epson, you can check one on your area by going to www.epson.com site and look for a servicer.
