If it's a stock amplified system, then it may be the amplifiers. If it's not, then it's just the speakers need replacing.

If you hook what is now the left speaker does it work on the right hand channel? If not the cable to it is defective or the connections or the Amplifier is defective.

I have two jl audio 12 w6v2 running with a jl audio 1000/1 and at high volume they make a poping noise does any one know y

That popping noise is your speaker telling you to turn it down, and that your amp is too powerful for your setup. The speaker cone is moving beyond its limits of excursion and on it's way to malfunction/blown. Basically the voice coil will fry.

IVA-D300 only LEFT speakers work.

try this get ur self a AA battery take ur stereo out of and get the two wires going to ur speakers that are not working and touch the battery with one wire on the positive and the other on the negative and see if u hear a poping from the speaker. and if u do thats the right wires and if u dont u need to find the right wires.( MAKE SURE UR STEREO IS NOT CONNECTED WHEN U R DOING THIS TEST. ALL SPEaKER WIRES NEED TO BE DISCONECTED WHEN PERFORMING TEST.)

and if u hear a pooping sound and it still dont work place the working speakers on the side thats not playing and if the dont play ur out puts are bad in the stereo and u need a new stereo. hope this helps

I installed 2 12" volfenhag subs with a power cap and had it all put in and the inner speakers werent working so i switched em out and put in new ones and the subs wont work now. i poped the fuse and had...

i dont recommend using aluminum foil buy the correct fuses they arent exspensive. any auto parts store should carry most types. first check all of your power connections then check your ground connections if all looks and seems secure check the physical wire connections on the speakers. make sure the remote wire is connected properly. if none of this works try a different audio source to check the speaker itself
